New Still-Lifes

I haven't been shooting much lately except for a quickie shoot with a few weeks ago. Tonight however, I got inspired and did a few still-lifes of my favorite pair of classic vintage Vivienne Westwood platforms. Both of these were shot with available light with long exposure times. No lighting was intentionally set up for these nor were there any digital manipulations.



The above shot was photographed on a glass table outside on my balcony with only streetlights illuminating it. ISO 200, f3.5, 10 second exposure.



This was shot with available light looking inside a hallway. The blue light is reflected from my TV set. ISO 200, f3.5, 5 second exposure.

Chewbacca & SDG

The big apartment move is next week, and in preparation I've been going through a lot of old archives. I was thrilled to find Chewbacca's autograph! Courtney has a HUGE crush and fascination with Chewy so she was thrilled that I found this as well! I think I met Peter Mayhew at a science fiction convention back in 1979.
